Professional staff is available to help you with problems you may be having with your hearing. We will take into account what you personally would like to hear better to improve your quality of life. We can also spend time with you and discuss ways to make listening with hearing aids easier in your day-to-day life. We will also explain how the ear functions, what hearing loss is, how it happens, why it happens, and we will discuss treatment. Family members are welcome and encouraged to come with you and learn about your hearing and hearing aids.
(*FREE*) Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations
During your examination you will be tested using a series of low & high frequency words to determine your ability to understand verbiage within a conversation. We will also give you several words to repeat. The results will help us determine your percentage of hearing loss, your ability to understand speech and how hearing aids will improve your ability to hear.
(*FREE*) Listening demonstration Hearing aids and Assistive Listening devices (ALDs)
We will program a hearing aid up to your specific hearing loss using your audiogram. The new hearing aid technology will provide a more natural crystal clear sound by amplifying the certain frequencies that you personally are missing. These hearing aids automatically sense for noise in turn reducing noise to help you hear better in crowds and group situations. Assistive listening devices are devices that can help a listener function better in day-to-day communication situations. ALDs can be used with hearing aids to make hearing easier, which can reduce the overall stress and fatigue of listening. ALDs can be used in the home to make alarms, the television and telephone more audible. They can also be connected to personal hearing aids for better listening in noisy environments. We will also demonstrate our echarger so you can see how easy it is to charge hearing aids rather than buying and replacing batteries.
(*FREE with purchase of hearing aids*) Fitting – wireless computer adjusting Hearing aid settings using the latest digital technology
To determine the optimum settings for your hearing aids, we use your audiogram, as well as your personal impression of how well you can hear. This adjustment process is carried out using a computer.
When adjusting your hearing aids, we take various measurements to check how well you can hear. Once we teach you how to operate them and instruct you on the energy supply (batteries), you should wear your new hearing aids for a few days in your regular surroundings.
Based upon what you tell us about how well you can hear in your everyday surroundings, we will make any necessary final adjustments to your hearing aids.
(*FREE*) Follow-up Care
Once your hearing aids have been fitted to your complete satisfaction, we will provide you with detailed information on how they should be maintained. We will also provide free routine maintenance and cleaning of the hearing aids. Of course, you can have your hearing aids checked by us at any time. This will ensure that the sound quality remains as good as ever, and will extend the life of your aids. We will fine tune the instruments to your personal needs to insure maximum benefit.
(*FREE customer in warranty*) Hearing Aid Repairs on all makes and models
Some minor hearing aid repairs can be done in the office setting in a short period of time; others will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Your hearing professional can help determine what kind of a repair is necessary if you feel your hearing aid is not working properly.
(*FREE*) Hearing Aid Evaluation and Selection
During a hearing aid evaluation, you will meet with a licensed professional who will discuss with you the different styles, colors, technologies, and benefits to wearing hearing aids. You may be shown different styles or have the opportunity to try different hearing aids in the office. Custom impressions may be taken of your ears, depending on the style of hearing aid chosen.
(*FREE*) Hearing Test & Audiometry
In order to adjust your hearing aid to your individual requirements, we first determine your personal hearing profile, or "audiogram." This is done by testing your ability to hear a variety of speech and environmental sounds.
(*FREE to our hearing aid customers*) In Office Services
We encourage ongoing cleaning and maintenance after your hearing aid purchase to ensure you receive optimum performance and benefit from your hearing aid(s). We encourage all our patients to come in for regular hearing aid check-ups and cleaning.
Repairs, Maintenance, Cleanings, and Warranties come with all brands of hearing aids. We offer in-office repairs when possible on most makes/models.
(*FREE*) Live Speech Mapping
Live Speech Mapping is a fitting process that uses probe microphones and live real-time speech to allow the patient and their family members to immediately see and understand the benefits of hearing aids and fitting adjustments.
(*FREE*) Otoscopic Inspection of Ear Canal
Before your Hearing Examination we will examine your ear canal in search of anything that might give inaccurate test results. We will search for any infections, impacted ear wax, or anything else that would not constitute a healthy ear canal.
(*FREE*) Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
Tinnitus is described as a ringing in the ear, and can range in severity. A tinnitus evaluation can help you identify how much tinnitus interferes with your daily life and if there are treatment options that can benefit you.
(*FREE*) Technology Updates on New Products
Our latest hearing aid technology allows us to update software to allow our patients to benefit from new breakthroughs in adjustments, clarity, and sound quality. This means that our patients will benefit when new technology software comes out because they will receive that new technology software update when they see us for follow-up services.
(*FREE*) Trade-in appraisal
New patients with older hearing aid technology that they are no longer satisfied with can get an appraisal on the value of that hearing aid. They then are able to trade the hearing aid(s) in for a new hearing aid(s) with a discount of the appraised amount of their old hearing aid(s).
We keep a supply of batteries for you to purchase in our office. Stop in routinely for fresh batteries. Make sure to check the batteries in your hearing devices often and make sure there is no dirt, wax or debris interfering with the batteries performance. Batteries that are properly charged will make a noise (a squeal) when cupped in your hand or after it has been inserted in your ear, when you cup your hand over the hearing aid it will also make a noise.

Evaluation and Fitting for Musician's Ear Plugs
Musicians practice and perform in a variety of different settings. They are exposed to high levels of sound, sometimes for long periods, which may put them at risk for permanent hearing damage. Musician’s ear plugs are custom-made devices that help to limit the sound exposure from instruments, while still providing a rich musical experience for the performer or audience.
Since the various systems produce different hearing impressions, it is important for you to make a comparison yourself. For this purpose we will produce custom-made earmolds based on the exact contours of your ears. We can then ensure that your hearing aid fits perfectly.
